私は幼い頃から絵が好きで、
どこへ行くにもキャンバスを
持ち歩いていました。
ある日、知人が私の母に
「この子には絵の才能がある。」
と言いました。
母はその言葉を信じず、
私に絵の勉強をさせてくれませんでした。
しかし、私は諦めず母を説得し、
絵の勉強をさせてもらえるようになり、
今日まで絵を描き続けてこれました。
Hi there! My name is Daria, and this is my collection of oil and acrylic paintings.I have been creating art for as long as I can remember! But just recently I realised that painting is the thing i want to do professionally (as much as it's possible for a self-taught artist) and full time.I'm 28 years old, married. I have a 2 year old son and a dog. Born and raised in Ukraine (and extremely proud to be a part of thus gloriousnation), now live in Nagano, Japan, a stunningly beautiful place in the mountains. Most of the time I look after my baby and paint if I get a chance. My work draws from personal experiences and memories, nature and beauty of simple things.
Painting is my escape from reality as well as my acceptance of it, sometimes even a meditative practice. I hope my works will bring you the same amount of joy and sense of ‘home’ as they bring me.
